Coaches: Turn Your Equipment Preferences into a Custom Boxing Gear Brief

Coaches: Turn Your Equipment Preferences into a Custom Boxing Gear Brief

As a coach, you notice the small details. A closure takes too long between rounds. A handle feels awkward during a particular drill. A piece of kit is difficult to identify when several trainers share the same space.

Those observations are a useful starting point for custom equipment. Boxing Forge welcomes coaches who want to discuss gear made around their requirements.

Describe the situation before the solution

Explain what you are doing when the problem appears. Include the type of session, who uses the equipment and the feature you would like to change. A short video or annotated photo can make the request easier to understand.

Tell us which existing features you want to keep, too. A clear brief identifies both the change and the parts of the product that already work for you.

Make preferences specific

Separate branding choices from construction requests. Record proposed dimensions, closure preferences, materials and quantities where you know them. Mark uncertain details for discussion rather than presenting guesses as final specifications.

Check feasibility before announcing a product

Not every idea can be produced in every quantity or material. Ask us to assess the request and explain the available options. A custom design still needs appropriate evaluation for its intended use.

Review the sample against your notes

Agree the sample process and record your feedback feature by feature. Keep performance or protection claims limited to what has actually been established; a coach's preferred design is not automatically a certified product.

Send Boxing Forge your coaching brief. Start with the equipment, the change you want and the sessions it needs to serve.
